In a related move, the Mets also recalled reliever Tommy Hunter and optioned Jordan Yamamoto. The Carrasco move clears 40-man space for Hunter to join the roster.

Fantasy Impact:

Yamamoto was recalled by the Mets on Tuesday and allowed one run on four hits across two 2/3 innings in his only relief appearance. He was optioned to Triple-A on Thursday. The Mets recalled pitcher Tommy Hunter in a corresponding move.
