The Mariners placed pitcher Nick Margevicius on the 10-day injured list Monday due to left shoulder inflammation. (Mariners PR on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
It is possible that this shoulder injury had an impact on Margevicius's lack of control in his start Sunday against Boston. Robert Dugger was recalled from the alternate training site. With Margevicius being part of the six-man rotation for Seattle, Ljay Newsome is a potential candidate to take over that role next time through the rotation.
