Ljay Newsome earns first career MLB win Sunday

Ljay Newsome earned his first career MLB win on Sunday against Houston on Sunday, tossing two innings while allowing zero runs and zero hits with one strikeout and zero walks.
Fantasy Impact:
Newsome entered the game out of the bullpen in the fifth inning when Nick Margevicius was forced to depart the game early due to an injury. Newsome walked the first batter he faced, but because the count was already 3-1 when he entered the game, that walk to Chas McCormick was charged to Margevicius. He wound up scoring after stealing second, and then tagging to third base and home on back-to-back fly balls. However, again that run was charged to Margevicius. Newsome was then able to work out of another threat after back-to-back errors put two runners on base before he retired the Astros in order in the sixth inning.
