Mariners starter Nick Margevicius left Sunday's start early in the fifth inning against Houston. (Ryan Divish on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Margevicius had thrown 4+ innings, allowing one (unearned) run on one hit with three strikeouts and zero walks. He suffered the injury against the first batter he faced in the fifth inning when a trainer came out before he was removed from the game. LJay Newsome entered the game out of the bullpen. Margevicius replaced James Paxton in the Mariners six-man rotation so if he is to miss extended time, Seattle will either need to move back to the usual five-man rotation or find the next man up to fill that open spot in the current rotation.
