Austin Dean came off the bench on Saturday, taking over for the injured Tyler O'Neill, and went 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored, and three RBI in a 9-5 loss to Milwaukee.

The Cardinals reserve outfielder recorded his first hits, home run, and RBI of the young season and could see an increase in playing time in the short-term depending on the severity of O'Neill's injury. The owner of a career .219 AVG and .652 OPS entering the day, Dean can be left on waiver wires for now.
