RHP Steve Cishek has requested his release from the Houston Astros, which has been granted, according to Mark Feinsand of MLB.com (Mark Feinsand on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The 34-year-old Cishek was a long shot to make the Astros roster so he'll look to latch on to another team before the regular season gets underway. He put up a lackluster 5.40 ERA and 1.50 WHIP over 20 innings with the Chicago White Sox last season.
