Nationals RHP Stephen Strasburg told reporters Wednesday that doctors say he doesn't need the tendon he ruptured in his calf. (Jesse Dougherty on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This means that Strasburg doesn't need to get the tendon repaired. The doctors told him that he'd still "need" the tendon if human beings walked on all fours, but since we're now upright the tendon is obsolete. It's a strange situation to read about, but the good news is Strasburg should be ready to go come the regular season.
