Fantasy Impact:
Chatwood says the current plan is for him to work as a “late-inning” reliever. “Stuff is going to play up.” He mainly pitched out of the bullpen in 2019 for the Cubs and owned a 19.3 K rate as a reliever. The 31-year-old owned a 5.30 ERA, 1.66b WHIP and a 25:9 K:BB across 18 2/3 innings in 2020. Chatwood will be used in a high-leverage role, but won’t challenge current closer Kirby Yates for save opportunities.
