Detwiler signed a one-year deal with the Marlins during the off-season. He will be used exclusively out of the bullpen in 2021. “Ross Detwiler is a big part of the pen,” said Marlins manager Don Mattingly. “Strictly a bullpen guy in 2021.” Detwiler posted a 3.20 ERA and 1.22 WHIP across 19 2/3 relief innings for the White Sox in 2020.
