Veteran outfielder Shin Soo-Choo is working out at first base in hopes of finding a new home as a free agent. According to Robert Murray, the Brewers have interest in him. (Robert Murray on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Over the past several seasons, Shin Soo-Choo primarily played in the outfield or as a designated hitter. Assuming the National League doesn't bring back the DH, adding first base eligibility would help his ability to find a new team. In 2020, he hit five home runs, 13 runs, 15 RBI, and six steals with a .236 BA. However, from 2017-2019, he consistently produced and averaged 22 home runs, 90 runs, 67 RBI, and 11 steals with a triple slash of .263/.368/.437 in 653 plate appearances. If he signs with a team, don't forget about Shin Soo-Choo in fantasy baseball drafts.
