Domingo Santana agrees to deal with Yakult Swallows

Outfielder Domingo Santana has agreed to a contract with the Yakult Swallows of Nippon Professional Baseball, according to a report from MLB insider Jon Morosi. (Jon Morosi on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Santana batted .278 with 30 home runs in 2017 with the Brewers and then batted .253 with 21 home runs in 121 games with the Mariners in 2019, but he bottomed out in Cleveland in 2020, hitting just .157 with two home runs in 24 games. He's heading to Japan for at least a year at age 28 to rebuild his value, and it would not be surprising to see him return to Major League Baseball in the near future if he is able to figure things out overseas.
