Duane Underwood Jr. pitched the sixth and seventh innings of Thursday's game against the Pirates, giving up one run on three hits and three strikeouts. The Cubs lost, 7-0.
Fantasy Impact:
Underwood has increased his strikeout rate this year, getting 25 strikeouts in 19 and 2/3 innings. He is still struggling with hard contact, as just six percent of his batted balls are of soft contact. He will be waiver wire fodder until he fixes that issue.
