Anthony Bemboom hits go-ahead homer in the ninth inning
by Lucas Spence | Sat, Sep 12th 1:26am EDT
Angels catcher Anthony Bemboom hit his second home run of the season on Friday night, connecting for a go-ahead home run in the top of the ninth inning off of Rockies closer Daniel Bard to give his team a temporary 4-3 lead. The Angels would eventually lose on a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the inning. Bemboom was hitless in three other at-bats.
Fantasy Impact:
Despite tonight's temporary heroics, Bemboom sports a pedestrian .194 AVG and .730 OPS and does not offer any fantasy value.
