Taylor Williams implodes for five earned runs, takes the loss

Taylor Williams took the loss in the first game of Thursday's double header when he gave up five runs on two hits with two walks and one strikeout over 2/3 of an inning as the M's lost 10-7 to the Padres.
Fantasy Impact:
Williams entered in the bottom of the seventh to protect a 7-4 Mariners lead and promptly got the first two outs before he began to fall apart. He hit Austin Hedges with a pitch and then walked back-to-back batters before giving up consecutive singles that evened the score at seven apiece. He was replaced by Dan Altavilla who gave up another single and then a walk-off home run to Wil Myers. When it was all said and done Williams was charged with a blown save and the loss. He now owns a 6.39 ERA, 1.34 WHIP, and an 18:6 K/BB ratio over 12.2 innings.
