Although it's early, there are red flags in his batted ball data. He has an abnormal 17.1% line drive (LD) rate and a 60% ground ball (GB) rate compared to his career averages of 26% LD% and 45.7% GB%. Santana's 84.9 mph average exit velocity (9th percentile) and 35.5% hard-hit rate (48th percentile) also don't inspire confidence. He's probably droppable in most leagues unless it's a deeper five outfielder league.
