Nick Markakis lands on the IL after possible exposure

OF Nick Markakis was placed on the COVID-19 injured list Tuesday after being potentially exposed to the virus, though he has tested negative to this point. (Atlanta Braves on Twitter)

Markakis tested negative for the Coronavirus, but the Braves placed him on the COVID-19 injured list "out of an abundance of caution." The 35-year-old will be able to rejoin the team once he produces another negative test. Cristian Pache was recalled in a corresponding move.
