Austin Allen hits first career homer

Austin Allen went 1-for-3 with a two run home run, two RBI, and a run scored in Wednesday’s comeback win over the Rangers.
Fantasy Impact:
Allen has appeared in six games this year slashing .143/.200/.357 in only 15 plate appearances. Allen, 25, was off to a nice start back in Spring training and hit .262 with 13 homers over 270 at bats for the Padres Triple A affiliate last year. Sean Murphy is not off to a great start either, and Allen bats from the left side leaving Allen on the better side of the platoon if the A’s go that route. Something to keep an eye on as the season rolls on.
