Fantasy Impact:
Sanchez tested positive for COVID-19 on July 12th and will need to process two negative tests before being able to join his teammates. He was placed on the injured list for undisclosed reasons. Sanchez wasn't expected to make the roster or play much of a role in the Cardinals bullpen. The 23-year-old owned a 4.44 ERA. 1.34 WHIP and a 135:38 K:BB across 146 innings for Double-A Arkansas in 2019.
