Yasiel Puig has tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, he remains a free agent. He is asymptomatic and feels good. If he signs with a team, he will have to test negative twice before returning to the field, which could be when games are being played. (Jon Heyman on Twitter)

Puig was just about to sign with the Atlanta Braves, but unfortunate news has struck him and fantasy players. Given that he is feeling fine, expect him to sign a contract within 7-10 days. He was likely already shaking off some rust, and this just delays him further. He will tumble down draft boards for the time being.
