Brandon Morrow released by the Cubs

Fantasy Impact:
Morrow was not included on the initial Cubs 60-man player pool and has been released. He had a minor nerve procedure and it was going to take additional time to recover. Morrow has struggled with injuries the past few seasons, logging only 30 2/3 innings. The 35-year-old will try to latch onto another team during summer camp.
