Jared Hughes signs major league deal with Mets

The Mets continue to load up on veterans over the past couple of days. This time, however, it's for a major league deal. The 34-year-old reliever was released by the Astros upon his request back in March. He has appeared in at least 63 games in every season since 2014 and will serve a middle-relief role in New York.
