Chen signed a minor league deal with the Mariners this off-season, but the team ultimately decided to move on from the left-hander. He was also released by Miami in December. Chen struggled mightily in 2019, owning a 6.59 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and a 63:18 K:BB across 68 1/3 innings for the Marlins. The 34-year old southpaw will look to latch onto another team during spring training 2.0.
