Jose Bautista not pushing two-way comeback, ‘I’m a hitter’

Jose Bautista is not necessarily ready to return to MLB as a two-way player. “I’m a hitter,” said Bautista. “Just in case that door opens, I’ll be ready to be a hitter.” (MLB Network Radio on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Bautista worked out as a pitcher over the winter to continue in hopes of continuing his MLB career. It appears he was mainly a throwing partner for SP Marcus Stroman. “I’ve never stated that this was my plan or desire to make it in the big league as a pitcher.” Bautista did not play a game in the majors in 2019, and will look to latch onto a roster once or if the MLB season starts.
