Alexi Ogando threw a dominant inning in Monday's game against the Mets, WEEI.com reports. He struck out two and induced a popup. "Domination, pretty much. He looked good," said Red Sox catcher Ryan Hanigan. "Good fastball command and an exceptional slider. Locked guys up and did his thing. It was pretty obvious." Ogando, who gave up runs in his first spring outing, hasn't allowed a run in three straight while striking out five without a walk in four innings. (WEEI)
Fantasy Impact:
Alexi Ogando could be an underrated signing this winter by the Red Sox. He is finally healthy and has a chance to show what he is capable of doing before the last two injury plagued years. If closer Koji Uehara loses his job, Ogando could have a shot at winning the role.
