Ethier starts in center field, bats sixth

Andre Ethier started in center field and batted sixth in the order in Thursday evening's 1-0 win over the San Diego Padres. Joc Pederson, his competition (and presumed favorite) for the Opening Day job, batted ninth as a DH.
Fantasy Impact:
Ethier went 0-for-2 with a strikeout and is now 4-for-13 with two walks, four strikeouts, and no extra base hits in Spring Training. He has gotten several starts at CF over Pederson despite the young phenom's need for Major League reps, so one would figure Ethier is still being showcased for a potential trade. Regardless, he is not much of a fantasy option at this point in his career.
