CC Sabathia has been placed on the 10-Day IL due to right knee inflammation. (New York Yankees on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Sabathia was removed from Friday’s start against Oakland after just three innings. The lefty’s balky knees have been an ever-present issue in his final season in pinstripes. The Yankees hope that CC will return in time to pitch again before the playoffs begin. Jonathan Loaisiga has been recalled in his stead.
