Steve Pearce (back) played for a third consecutive day Friday, going 0-for-4 while starting at first base for Triple-A Pawtucket. (masslive.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Pearce has been out since June 1. He’s likely to rejoin the Sox before the end of their six-game homestand and possibly as soon as this weekend. The veteran slugger is only hitting .180 on the season and is not worth owning in fantasy.
