Framber Valdez to join 'Stros rotation

Fantasy Impact:
Any pitcher that is making starts for the Astros is worth immediate streaming consideration, at worst, and a matchup with Baltimore is certainly an appealing first opportunity for Valdez. The 25-year old left-hander has subpar strikeout and walk rates, but he generates a ton of ground balls with his sinker and curve, making it exceedingly tough to take him deep. Perhaps he'll prove to be more than a streamer if he sticks in Houston's rotation.
