Peter Bourjos was released by the Angels on Friday according to the teams Twitter account.
Fantasy Impact:
Bourjos was designated for assignment earlier in the week so this was not a surprise. The veteran outfielder was hitting just .091 with 15 strikeouts in 46 plate appearances. Bourjos may catch on with another team for depth but will not be worth owning in fantasy.
