Neil Walker doubles, steals a base Thursday
by Mike Maher | Fri, May 10th 10:57am EDT
Marlins infielder Neil Walker went 1-for-2 with a double, two walks, and a stolen base in Thursday's loss to the Chicago Cubs. The steal was his second of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Walker is quietly having a solid start to the season in Miami, batting .283 with seven runs scored, three home runs, five RBIs, and two stolen bases through 92 at-bats. His runs and RBIs are hurt by a poor supporting cast, but he could turn into an interesting player in the second half if he gets dealt to a contender before the trade deadline.
