Jordan Zimmermann was placed on the 10-day IL with a UCL sprain in his right elbow. (Johnny Kane on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Zimmermann only went three innings before being pulled on Thursday night. He had allowed five runs over those three innings and reported elbow discomfort. The fact that it's a sprain means he should be back soon, however, any UCL issues with a pitcher are frightening. He's got a 5.93 ERA and 1.352 WHIP through six games this season.
