Jeff McNeil out of Mets' lineup on Saturday

Jeff McNeil is taking a seat on Saturday with lefty Patrick Corbin on the mound for the Nationals. The prolific J.D. Davis, batting a robust .150 on the young season, will jump start the Mets' offense that was just shut out on Thursday, by batting cleanup and playing 3B.
Fantasy Impact:
McNeil owners have to be frustrated so far with the way the Mets have handled him. While his absence last Wednesday was due to a slight knee issue, there's no word on whether his absence from Saturday's lineup is anything more than due to a lefty-lefty matchup situation. The Mets did this last year with Brandon Nimmo before ultimately realizing his value and starting him most days. So, there is hope McNeil's playing time will increase and become more consistent as the season continues.
