Jeff McNeil is absent from the Mets' lineup on Wednesday because his knee is “banged up." The Mets' infielder is, however, available to pinch hit today. (Mike Puma on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
It doesn't appear that McNeil's knee issue is anything serious since he is available for pinch hitting duties in today's series finale against the Marlins. Off to a quick start on the season with a .400 batting average and .471 OBP, McNeil should likely be back in the lineup for the Mets' home opener against the Nationals on Thursday afternoon.
