Drew Storen has agreed to a one-year, minor-league deal with the Royals. He will get $1.25 million if he makes the major-league club, with incentives. (Jon Heyman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Once thought to be the long-term answer at closer for the Nationals, Storen has struggled with both ineffectiveness and injury over the past several seasons, and did not pitch at all in 2018. He's a long-shot to factor into the closer's mix for the Royals, but given the state of the Kansas City bullpen, it's not out of the question that Storen could see some save opportunities if he proves himself early.
