Veteran utility infielder Daniel Descalso has agreed to a two-year deal with the Chicago Cubs with a club option for 2021, the team announced on Twitter. (Chicago Cubs on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Descalso will be more valuable to the Cubs than he will be to fantasy owners, but his positional eligibility might come in handy as a streaming option in deeper leagues that emphasize getting on base. In 2018, he slashed .238 / .353 / .436 with 13 home runs, 57 RBIs, 54 runs scored, and 64 walks.
