Manny Machado remains a target of Yankees

In a YES Network interview Yankees owner Hal Steinbrenner expressed his desire to have a face-to-face meeting with Manny Machado this winter. (mlb.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Steinbrenner wants to meet with Machado to discuss his controversial comments/actions from the playoffs. It's unlikely his antics will cost him much money this winter. The Yankees have been highly interested since the beginning of the off-season. New York has an opening at shortstop with Didi Gregorius recently undergoing Tommy John surgery.
