Joe Mauer went 2-for-5 against the Tigers on the Tuesday, hitting two singles and scoring a run. The Twins won 5-3.

Mauer keeps motoring along, picking up singles and posting a decent OBP of .345. He should be left on waivers in all formats, given his lack of counting stats and power. If he retires this year, the baseball community will certainly miss him. He is the standard for longevity, posting consistent stats since 2004.
