Edwin Diaz earns his 54th save of the year

Edwin Diaz struckout one batter and allowed one baserunner on a hit by pitch in the ninth inning against the Yankees on Sunday to earn his 54th save of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Diaz has not allowed a run since August 18 while striking out 13 batters over 7 1/3 innings since that date. With 19 games remaining on the schedule, Diaz needs nine saves to break the single-season save record set by Francisco Rodriquez in 2008 (62). Fantasy managers can continue to reap the benefits of the 24-year old's stellar season.
