Erasmo Ramirez took the loss against the Padres on Wednesday, allowing seven runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out only two batters over three innings.

Ramirez never found his groove against the San Diego offense, giving up two runs in the first, one in the second, and four runs in the third. Over his previous three starts, he had given up only two earned over 16 innings. However, after allowing seven earned over just three innings, Ramirez's ERA rockets up to 6.28 with a 1.47 WHIP. He will look to bounce back with a favorable matchup at home against the Orioles on Monday.
