Koda Glover notches first save Thursday
by Elliott Baas | Fri, Aug 17th 1:36pm EDT
Koda Glover picked up his first save of the season in the Nationals' 5-4 win over the Cardinals on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact:
It was a little shaky for Glover, who allowed a single and a walk with two outs before retiring Yadier Molina to end the game. Glover has only pitched 2.2 innings this season due to a severe shoulder injury from lasts year. He has a career 4.97 ERA and 1.08 HR/9, so he isn't a high-end reliever by any means, but he looks like the closer in Washington.
