The Royals went with Brandon Maurer to close out the Tigers on Monday, and he gave the game away. He allowed two doubles, a single, and didn't register an out as he was handed his fourth loss of 2018.
Fantasy Impact:
Kansas City closer Wily Peralta was unavailable on Monday after pitching for three consecutive days. It should be a while before Maurer gets another save opportunity as he boasts a 14.25 ERA and a 3.00 WHIP.
