Devin Mesoraco homers, leaves game with head injury Tuesday

Devin Mesoraco went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run on Tuesday but ended up leaving the game after being hit in the head on a backswing. He has already passed the concussion protocol, but the team will continue to monitor him this week, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports on Twitter. (Anthony DiComo on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Mesoraco has already passed the concussion tests but will likely miss at least a few days. More will be known today after he can be re-evaluated, but the fact that he has already been cleared for a concussion is a great sign. With an off day on Thursday, the earliest he could return would be Friday against the Tampa Bay Rays.
