Shohei Ohtani's recent MRI showed improvement in his elbow ligament since his PRP injection, and he will begin a "formal hitting progression" immediately. (Jon Morosi on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Billy Eppler also said that Ohtani's fitness to pitch will be re-evaluated in three weeks. Overall, this is about as good news as fantasy owners could have hoped for, and it sounds like Ohtani should return as a DH within a few weeks absent any setbacks. With any luck, a return to the mound could be forthcoming after that.
