Brandon McCarthy allowed eight hits, two runs (both earned), and one walk while striking out four over 5 2/3 innings Friday night against the Padres in Atlanta. He didn't factor into the decision, a 9-3 loss.
Fantasy Impact:
There hasn't been a decision made, but McCarthy will likely be removed from the rotation soon, in favor of the younger pitchers, likely Mike Soroka or Luiz Gohara.
