Pedro Alvarez drives in two-runs in win over the White Sox
by Ryan Orndorff | Thu, May 24th 7:26pm EDT
Pedro Alvarez went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a walk as the Orioles defeated the White Sox.
Fantasy Impact:
Alvarez had a great day at the plate, contributing to the Orioles blowout victory over the White Sox. Even with this multi-hit effort, his batting average is barely over the Mendoza Line at .204. He has manifested some power in the form of eight home runs, but his soft hit percentage and fly ball percentages have both seen increases. His batting average on balls in play is very low, so we could see some positive regression in the average category, but keep in mind he is a career .237 hitter.
