Bruce Rondon tallies first save of the season
by Dan Harris | Mon, May 14th 1:06pm EDT
Bruce Rondon pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Sunday against the Cubs to preserve the White Sox' 5-3 victory and earn his first save. He allowed one hit and struck out two.
Fantasy Impact:
The closer situation for the White Sox is about as muddied as it gets, but Rondon is now a part of the committee who could see further save opportunities in the future. He was once viewed as the Tigers' closer-in-waiting, so he could run with the job if he continues to get and convert further chances.
