Brandon Maurer optioned to Triple-A Omaha

The Kansas City Royals sent Brandon Maurer to the minors after another ugly outing against the Angels on Thursday. He amassed a 12.46 ERA over 4.1 innings this season.
Fantasy Impact:
The former Padre closer will hopefully right the ship in Omaha, as he has been disastrous since being acquired by the Royals in 2017. He is not relevant in fantasy at this time.
