J.J. Hardy expected back this week

J.J. Hardy received a cortisone injection in his ailing elbow and is expected to make his return from the 60-day DL this week. (Brittany Ghiroli)
Fantasy Impact:
It's been a long recovery for the O's shortstop, who has been out since June with a wrist fracture and elbow issues. Coach Buck Showalter believes Hardy has a chance to play in the Orioles' upcoming series against the Yankees. With his replacement Tim Beckham playing incredibly well, it remains to be seen what kind of playing time the veteran Hardy will actually get.
