Matt Cain fell to 3-10 on Wednesday afternoon in Miami, allowing five runs (two earned) on five hits over four innings of work.
Fantasy Impact:
Cain struck out seven and walked just one, plus he didn't allow a homer to Giancarlo Stanton, which alone make his outing a success these days. Unfortunately, Cain's best day are far behind him. He currently owns a 5.19 ERA here in the middle of August.
