Josh Hader threw two scoreless innings of relief on Wednesday against the Reds in Cincinnati. He issued one walk and one strikeout while throwing 34 pitches, 22 for strikes.
Fantasy Impact:
Through six relief appearances totaling 8.1 innings this season, Hader has a 0.00 ERA, one hit allowed, and a 5/7 K/BB rate. The strikeout-to-walk rate deserves a tough of negative attention, but everything else looks solid for the young lefty. With Chase Anderson due to miss some time with an oblique injury, Hader could be called upon for some starts in the coming days and weeks. He's worth a look if you're in need of pitching help.
